Post 4:
This week was a bit slower than I had hoped. We had planned to do a push before we play tested, but there was a drop in communication over the week and it never got done. We made some forward progress in the modeling, writing and sound areas, but otherwise not too much got done.
Tasks (grouped by session):
Organized general meeting and planned for the push/weeks work. 1.5hrs
Attended writers meeting. Assisted with read-throughs and editing 1.5hrs
Edited and Implemented ambient sound. Edited choice click sound, worked on implementation. 1hr
Added in AJs new models, subbed in the bottles to raise on choice. Set the cover to deactivate on choice. Experimented with different choice methods. Replaced boid model and adjusted behaviors. 2.5hrs
total: 6.5 hrs (estimate)
Positive:
The writing is going really well. We should be done with new scenes and on to editing by Monday. We had a discussion about communication that went well.
Negative:
We dropped the ball on pushing in new features for the playtest. In the general we had a discussion about what we wanted to get in then set a time to reconvene. Unfortunately that meeting fell through. From that point on it was difficult to assess where everyone in the team was. We really need to iron out lines of communication and make sure that when we agree to set a goal that it is legitimate
