Post 7:
This week we pushed toward what the final version of the game will be. We nailed down the script. Added in vfx, placed two additional characters, and refined the UI. We have finally gotten to the point where no additional structural changes will be made to the game, and we can just focus on making our current systems better. It took us a little while to get here, but I think we are better for the wait.
Tasks (grouped by session):
Organized general meeting and planned for the push/weeks work. 1hr
Attended writers meeting. Assisted with read-throughs and editing 1hr
Implemented choice vfx for all middle choices in game 8hrs
Refined ui added pause, dynamic bubbles 3hr
Added grass cards, solved shader issue with model fades, other misc shader work 5hrs
Total 18hrs estimated
Positive:
We finally are starting to look like a game, Im super proud we managed to get this far.
