Journey's End PPJs 05 (Week 7)

Public·7 members

Post 5:

This week was a lot more productive than any week in the past. The team worked really well together and I was super happy with the progress we made. The Alpha build is a whole different game than the playtest. We also did a larger meeting during the week where we were able to write and work side by side a bit. I think this helped a lot with meeting our goals for the week.

Tasks (grouped by session):

  • Organized general meeting and planned for the push/weeks work. 1.5hrs

  • Attended writers meeting. Assisted with read-throughs and editing 2ish hrs

  • Edited and Implemented twine file with writing team. 2hrs

Jackson Harding, PPJ #5 Hours:

  • Team meetings (2 hrs?)

  • Finalized JSON story implementation (5hrs)

  • Implemented story in json (1 hr)

  • Worked with jake on finalizing alpha and setting up actions (1 hr)

Total: 9 hrs Sample: Story Json: story - Copy (2)document Good: This week was fun, I liked what I worked on and the problem-solving. Bad: Not much, I thought we did pretty well. Upcoming:

Art and Team Meeting

This week I worked on mocking up and creating the final assets for the U.I. for the choices. I also working on making a loading screen for the game and animating it to follow the game's color style. I also worked on making a custom cursor for the game.

Good:

I am really proud how the loading screen turned out. I think it is way better than my first cover image for the game and really matches the game's overall aesthetic (apart from low poly).
